Chapter 4.1.1 – Copy User & User Group

Copy User

  • To save time, you can copy the access rights of an existing user when creating a new user.

Create New User (with Copy User)

Go to Genenral Maintenance → User Maintenance → New.

Enter the new user login ID in the User Login ID field > click Copy From.

To copy the access rights of an existing user, select ID to copy from.

Select particulars to copy, then click Save

  • User Group Maintenance is a useful tool for saving time and ensuring that all staff members are assigned the correct roles.

Go to General Maintenance  User Group Maintenance.

Click New to create User Group.

Enter the user group ID > click Copy From.

To copy the access rights of an existing group, select the User Group to Copy From.

Click OK

Modify access rights if required, then click Save.

Note

  • If you are using AutoCount Accounting 1.9, you will need to manually assign access rights to each user and user group. The copy function is not available in this version.
