Chapter 3 New Stock Accounts

CHAPTER 03.01 MAINTAIN STOCK ACCOUNT CODE

A) Used to Maintain A set of Stock Accounts (Opening Stock, Closing     Stock, Balance Sheet Stock). 
i. Go to GL – Account Maintenance.-
ii. Highlight the CURRENT ASSETS-Click Stock–
iii. key in

1. Open Stock Account
2. Closing Stock Account
3. Balance Stock Account

B) Can Maintain more than 1 Stock account

C) Opening and Closing stock for Manufacturing Account

Go to Others > Maintain Stock Value Links

D) Profit & Loss Statement for Opening and Closing Stock will show as follows:

E) Balance Sheet for Balance Stock will show as follows:
